Hotel Leone, an 8-roomed boutique hotel situated in the historic centre of of the small hilltop town of Montelparo, brings together the traditional architecture of Le Marche with beautiful furnishings from all four corners of the world. The bedrooms are characterised by an eclectic mix of oriental rugs, wrought iron lamps, images of Buddha and much more. Open year round, in the summer months guests are to be found soaking up the sun by the pool in the garden or having an aperitif on the large terrace of the Art Deco style Empire bar with its stunning views across the surrounding countryside and in the winter snuggling by the big log fire in the sitting room.
Restaurant Leone boasts a brick-vaulted ceiling restaurant (open daily for lunch and evening meal) with an underground wine cellar and wood burning oven and where, in the warmer summer months, meals are served outside in the beautiful little courtyard. The menu is Italian with the usual choices of antipasti, pasta, pizza and main dishes of meats and fish.
